Order Terms:
DIRECWAY
- Air Link Communications, INC. (ALC) standard order terms and return policies do NOT apply to DIRECWAY orders.
Order Process Policy
- ALC will share essential elements of your order, including credit card detail, with Hughes Network Systems (HNS) for the purpose of: (1) credit scoring to qualify for special pricing and purchase offers; (2) creating an HNS/DIRECWAY customer account.
Activation Policy
- 15 Months of service required; other terms and conditions may apply. ALC. will charge your credit card $150.00 if you do not activate your DIRECWAY system within 45-days of receipt of equipment.
Cancellation and Return Policy
Option #1 (Standard Contract)
- If you cancel your DIRECWAY order before 24 hours of installation, you will not be charged an early termination fee and ALC will refund your entire order amount.
- If you cancel DIRECWAY within 30-days of activation, you will not be charged an early termination fee. However, all installation charges are non-refundable. Therefore, if you purchased under Option #1 (standard contract) you will not be refunded $199.99. Customer holds the responsibility of any and all charges involved with de-installation of equipment. Customer has 30-days from the date of activation to cancel service and return all equipment for a refund of $399.00. Return of the equipment must be made at the customer's expense. Failure to return all of the equipment will result in no refund to the customer. Contact ALC Customer Service at 1-800-997-5465 for cancellations and returns within 30-days of activation.
- If you cancel your DIRECWAY order after 30-days from activation, you will be charged an early termination fee (see Legal Disclaimer section below for costs). All installation charges are non-refundable. Equipment may not be returned for a refund past 30 days from the date of activation.
Option #2 ($99.99 Special Offer)- If you cancel your DIRECWAY order before installation, you will not be charged an early termination fee and Air Link Communications, INC. will refund your entire order amount.
- If you cancel DIRECWAY within 30-days of activation, you will not be charged an early termination fee. However, all installation charges are non-refundable. Therefore if you purchased under Option #2 ($99 Special Offer) your original payment of $99.99 is non-refundable and you will owe an additional $100. Customer holds the responsibility of any and all charges involved with de-installation of equipment.
- Customer pays a $400 harware termination fee at the time of cancellation, which will be refunded, if the equipment is returned within 30 days from the date of cancellation. All equipment must be in good condition. Failure to return all of the equipment will result in no refund to the customer.
- If you cancel your DIRECWAY order after 30-days from activation, you will be charged an early termination fee (see Legal Disclaimer section below for costs). Equipment may not be returned for a refund past 30 days from the date of activation.
Fair Access Policy
To ensure equal Internet access for all DIRECWAY subscribers, Hughes Network Systems maintains a running average fair access policy. Fair access establishes an equitable balance in Internet access for all DIRECWAY customers regardless of their frequency or traffic usage. To ensure this equity, customers may experience some temporary throughput limitations. DIRECWAY Internet access is not guaranteed.
Legal Disclaimer
DIRECWAY broadband and DIRECTV television services, hardware, and installation sold separately. DIRECWAY service is not available in Alaska & Hawaii, and its usage is subject to the Fair Access Policy. Actual speeds vary based on the amount of traffic on the Internet, content on a particular Web site or by the overall performance and configuration of your computer. Stated speeds are not guaranteed. Visit DIRECTV.DIRECWAY.com for more information. Accessing DIRECTV programming and DIRECWAY services from a single dish requires the purchase of additional hardware. Professional installation is required. A phone line is needed to activate your account and may be needed for occasional troubleshooting. Monthly service fees apply; one-year commitment required. If you terminate service prior to the expiration of the 15-month commitment, you will owe and your credit card will be charged an Early Termination Fee of $300. In addition, if you select Option #2 ($99.99 Special Offer) and you terminate early, you will owe a Supplemental Termination Fee of $400. ACTIVATION OF DIRECTV PROGRAMMING MAY BE SUBJECT TO CREDIT APPROVAL AND REQUIRES VALID SERVICE ADDRESS, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND/OR MAJOR CREDIT CARD. DEPOSIT OR PREPAYMENT MAY BE REQUIRED. Offer may not be valid in the limited areas served by members or affiliates of the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC). Programming, pricing, terms and conditions subject to change.
